Solar Installation - How to install and should we install?
The process of solar installation is not too complicated. Still, the implementation process requires a lot of experience and technical knowledge. Therefore, solar power installation needs to follow the correct procedure to ensure accuracy and safety.
What is solar installation and how do solar panels work?
When installing a solar power system, we need to use solar panels. A solar panel consists of a layer of silicon cells, a metal frame, a glass shell element, and a wiring system to transmit electricity from the silicon.
Silicon is a nonmetal with conductive properties that allow it to absorb and convert sunlight into usable electricity. When light hits the silicon molecules, the light causes the electrons in the silicon to move, creating an electric current. This is known as the "photovoltaic effect" which describes the general function of solar panel technology.
The process of the solar installation system needs to be done correctly
The most common location to install solar panels is the roof. Most roofs usually have the correct specifications for solar installation so that the panels get maximum sunlight. However, if users do not want or cannot install solar panels on the roof, they can also be installed on the ground. You just need to make sure that there are no objects blocking access to the sun.
The following steps explain the rooftop solar installation process:
Setting up the scaffolding: You must first erect the scaffolding to ensure safety during the entire installation process when going to the roof.
Install the solar panel bracket: The solar panel mounting system must be set up. This will support the base of the solar panels. For maximum sunlight exposure, the entire mounting structure should be tilted and angled between 18 and 36 degrees.
Install solar panels: Once the racks are set up, the solar panels themselves must be installed on the mounting structure. Make sure to tighten all bolts and nuts so that it stays stable.
Connect the solar panels: The next step in the solar installation process is to install the wiring. MC4 connectors are used in most cases as they are suitable for all types of solar panels. It is necessary to turn off the household power supply during installation to ensure safety.
Install the solar inverter: At this step, the solar inverter must be connected to the system. The inverter will work more efficiently if installed in a cool place.
Install the Bond solar inverter and solar battery: The solar inverter must be connected to the solar battery. Solar battery storage can save you from worrying about low energy usage during cloudy times. It also reduces the cost of solar battery storage systems during installation.
Connecting the inverter to the equipment used: The inverter must be connected to the equipment to generate electricity. You can use a computer or other device to check the solar system's performance.
Startup and solar test panels: The final step is to power on and test the newly installed solar panel system. So the solar installation is complete.

After solar installation, how do we clean the surface of the solar panel?
Since there are no moving parts, the solar panels require no maintenance after solar installation. However, you should check a few times a year to clean the dirt when necessary. For the panels to absorb sunlight most effectively, there should be no obstructions to prevent them.
Before cleaning the panels yourself, you should consult your installer about the warranty conditions. Some solar panel manufacturers may terminate the warranty if the user performs self-cleaning operations.
For general cleaning after solar installation, you can use a regular faucet to clean the surface of the panels. You should do this in the morning or at night, and avoid spraying cold water while they are still hot because it can damage them. Moreover, if the surface is still not clean by just using the faucet, you can use a sponge with soapy water to scrub them. If you don't have time, ask for the services of a cleaning company. This is recommended if the panels are too tall or need a more thorough cleaning.
The solar installation - Should we install solar energy?
If you want to switch to a more eco-friendly energy source, solar power is no better method. You need to consider several factors before deciding whether to install solar. For example, ask yourself, "How much do I spend on electricity?", "What kind of house do I live in?" or "Is my roof suitable for solar installation?",... In fact, the more electricity you use, the more you pay, so you can definitely save more by going solar. The ideal solar roof would be in good condition, facing south and receiving plenty of direct sunlight.
This article is a guide to the solar installation system. However, if you are not technically savvy and do not want any risk, hiring a solar power installation unit will be the right choice.
